Katie Urich is a digital marketing strategist who has managed marketing campaigns for the past five years, and worked with non-profit organizations for the past eight. Her work is informed by her background as an arts educator, and she thrives on finding the why and building thoughtful strategies that are simple to implement with limited resources.
Katie has a Bachelor's degree in Arts Management and Media Arts from Chatham University, where she wrote a thesis on feminism in artistic institutions. When she’s not working, you can find her hanging out with her two pit bulls, cooking an elaborate meal, or hiking through the Pennsylvania wilds.
“Katie was, first and foremost, a delight to work with. Her bright and enthusiastic approach to her work is catching. In her time at the museum, I saw her innovate and improve upon outdated systems. Her current knowledge of her field (Marketing and Communications) is extensive and cutting edge. Katie, in addition to being a consummate professional and a competent marketer, is a natural people person and cultivated numerous new media and other relationships that were an asset to the museum.”
